Dr. Naysan specializes in medical and surgical management
of retinal diseases, including diabetic retinopathy, macular
degeneration, and retinal detachment. He also specializes in
treating inflammatory and infectious eye diseases. Jonathan
Naysan, M.D. was born in New York City, and grew up on Long Island.
He earned his medical Degree from State University of New York,
Upstate Medical University degree. Dr. Naysan then completed his
residency in ophthalmology at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health.
Following residency, Dr. Naysan completed a fellowship in Retina at
Vitreous Retina Macula Consultants of New York. Dr Naysan is
affiliated with both New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and NYU
Langone Health. Dr. Naysan is certified by the American Board
of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
